Chick & Alice's Adventures

Life is like a vast forest, where each individual wanders along their own unique trail. As these trails meander through the trees, they intersect and split, allowing for fleeting glimpses of others on similar journeys. Just as the forest is filled with unexpected encounters—some brief and others transformative—so too are our lives filled with people who come and go, shaping our experiences and connections.

 

Alice and Chick’s meeting was akin to two streams converging in this forest. At first glance, it appeared to be a mere coincidence, but beneath the surface, the currents of their pasts—marked by trauma and healing—had been flowing towards this intersection for quite some time. Alice, like a seasoned guide, has navigated the challenges of her journey for over twenty years, seeking to illuminate paths for others through alternative methods of healing. Her mission is to create a sanctuary within the forest where individuals can find refuge and support.

 

Chick, having traversed her own rugged terrain of struggle, was drawn to Alice’s vision like a moth to a flame. Their bond grew stronger, much like the roots of trees intertwining beneath the forest floor, creating an unshakeable foundation for their shared purpose. Together, they aim to raise awareness about the hidden scars of trauma and the healing that can emerge from the shadows.

 

As they embark on their motorcycle tour—a powerful symbol of freedom and exploration—they are determined to spread their message far and wide, lighting the way for those still lost in the woods. With the support of others, they envision a world where healing is accessible, and every story is valued in the interconnected tapestry of life.

October has been quite a month for the Clearview Works team.

We successfully launched our website updates, began selling our calendars, started a Spotify podcast channel, and continued building the foundation for the future.

Merch:

The calendar launch has been a success, thank you to everyone who purchased one!

This support truly means a lot and helps push the dream forward, with 50% of the funds raised going directly to Clearview Works.

• You can purchase your calendar on the Calendar Projects page of our website.

• Our merch store is now live and linked to the site.

• There you’ll find many of the shirts featured in photos of Chick and Alice.

Website Updates:

We’ve redesigned the website to better represent what we want to share with you at this stage and to add some new visual flair.

• The new Careers Page lets anyone interested apply and get involved with our mission.

• Navigation and design have been refreshed for a smoother experience.

 

Podcasts & Audio Blogs:

We’ve been busy recording audio versions of our blogs so you can listen during your day.

• Search “Adventures of Chick and Alice” on Spotify and Amazon Music or click the link on our Blogs page.

• Each entry is read by members of the Clearview Works team, adding a personal voice and understanding to every story.

Looking Ahead:

We’ve started working with other organizations and groups to spread the word and support the dream — from the 50-State Freedom Ride to the future Retreat Center and Greenhouse Project.

 

There’s much more in the works as we grow and share our message.
