Greenhouse

One of the most significant initiatives undertaken by the Clearview Works organization is the continuation of the vision inspired by Lalenya’s mother, Cynthia Clearview 1962-2016. Through years of meticulous planning, research, design, and data collection, she conceptualized an expansive, self-sustaining greenhouse operation aimed at delivering fresh organic food and essential supplies to local communities. This facility would cultivate a diverse array of plants for both nutritional and medicinal purposes, as well as provide meat sourced from various animals.
The initial project is set to span an impressive 340 acres of desert in the southwestern United States, aligning closely with the tribal operations in the region to ultimately realize a shared vision of ensuring sufficient food and water resources for the tribes and surrounding communities. This aspiration, rooted in the visions of Lalenya’s mother, is a fundamental element of Clearview Works' mission.
By adapting the original plans to align with contemporary technology, environmental considerations, and the ever-evolving economic and political landscape, we are committed to laying the groundwork to fulfill a dream that began nearly 40 years ago. While the location, scale, and personnel involved may evolve, our ultimate objective remains unchanged: to create a self-sustaining community with minimal environmental impact. This community aims to inspire similar initiatives worldwide, fostering self-reliance and encouraging individuals to be the change they wish to see for a brighter future for generations to come.
