Untitled Raw Thoughts
The ride is getting closer and closer. 297 Days to be exact but who's counting. This summer is filled with so many events to attend. Getting in as much riding as possible to make up for being so green. Technically I have less than 7 months riding experience on the roads. Being so “ambitious” and all taking something like this on, but here we are taking it on anyway. Don’t have time for fear only do, do, and doing. Been an interesting year. Like the universe aka: God is puttin

So, You Can Ride A Motorcycle…
Learning to ride, building skills to be able to handle riding a motorcycle is only the beginning. What do you do every time you ride? Do you just take off and ride how you’ve learned? Or, do you keep working on the skills you’ve learned so far, do you observe how others ride, are you open to learning more, or do you say “I know how to ride a motorcycle”, don’t need to know anything else? How about advanced skill classes, or do you think you can just learn everything by ri

People are the Curriculum
Been a minute since I could get anything done. Been traveling a lot. A lot of days in the month of no signal. Meeting a lot of interesting new people. Seeing old friends. I think I’ll start with the people.

What I Don’t Know
The last three weeks have been non-stop. Two motorcycle trips and a camping/fishing trip. I’ve been home only six days in those three weeks in between trips. Having just got home from the last trip (six days riding, driving, camping in the mountains), my mind is so full of experiences that I’m not even sure where to start (or end). I think I’ll just wing it. That’s kind of how I’ve been operating. As I’ve been riding and camping, I’ve been testing and learning all kinds

Directions
Forward. Of all the directions in life, it often carries the biggest challenge. Moving forward is often not an easy thing to do. In the grand scheme of things, the way I see it there are 4 things a person can do with their life at any given time. Stand still, Side step, Move backwards, or Push forwards. As the name implies, standing still is just that. you don’t move. You stay where you are and let life and the world move around you. Usually set in a routine that is repeated

Do the Work
My therapist has mentioned more than once that I make his job too easy. He asks if he's helping. He is, but I've done a lot of the work that got me to this stage already. It's not just my bachelor's in psychology, it's not just my curiosity. It was my willingness to change and do the work and accept the help and support of those I love and who love me. I talked to the docs, I got the meds, I changed the meds, I've read the books and browsed the internet for help. Now I'm in t
