Short and Sweet…
That’s this post. That fight with my right hand last week just collided with my fight a few weeks previous to that with accepting that age [has] impacted both my physical and mental capabilities…it’s the normal aging process, I’m there, but I’m still capable of achieving my dreams, just maybe need to operate with a few different parameters than I did in my 30’s, 40’s, and even into my 50’s. The result of that collision?…overdoing it, overdid it…an extremely painful flare up

Notes to self
Notes, little reminders through out your day and life that are often there to help you. I for one use a lot of notes through out my day. I go through a stack of post its about once every 2 weeks. Part of it is the busy life, others are sometimes I get easily distracted. They are there to help me remember things that need to get done, things that are important, things to look into, etc. It helps keep things organized, but the down side is that sometimes the little notes become

Psychological Impact Isolation: Makes a significant personal memory feel like an isolated myth rather than a part of y

I listened to the audiobook version and did not do any of the activities. I didn't approach this book looking for healing. I thought it might be an interesting addition to my mental toolkit. That being said, I didn't like this book. But, I see it's value and appreciate it's place in the canon of self-help books. This post is built around the notes I

Diagnosis
Let me get this out of the way, straight off. What you’re about to read here are my personal rumination’s while replaying various conversations with friends and/or family in my mind. These thoughts are my personal take on things, based on my own experiences, healing and growth. I have no degrees, I’m no therapist and I’m only sharing my personal perspective. I suspect that most of us, or some of our family members have been given various diagnoses as they struggle with dea
