Shadow Work

I'm thinking about shadow work, after reading Alice's post. I'm Jen, from the Media team, by the way. A while ago, a couple years?, the pagan/new age side of the internet was all about shadow work, getting in touch with your dark side. There were ample journals and spells and charms you can buy, but really you don't need any of that. Those are just tools. They might make your process easier, or prettier, but the work is still all yours.
I'm starting to learn just how important shadow work is. I tend to suppress my stress, bury problems with distractions. The result is pain, physical and mental pain. That is a signal to slow down, reflect on what's going on in your life, process it, and finally release it. I'm still stuck on acknowledging that I need to slow down.
I'd like to see Clearview Works bringing attention to different kinds of shadow work, sharing tips and tricks with people who are also looking to do some shadow work. Examining your darkness, your weakness, is easier when you have a community to help you.
