The Road Ahead

Excitement, fear, uncertainty, struggles, joy, hard work. What do they all mean? Well they mean many things but in this case, it’s what lies ahead for the Clearview Works team. As we are less than 300 days away from the send off to the 50 state bike ride, there is much that still is unknown and needs to be figured out.
The ride it self is being planned and moved on, the planning, the prepping, pivots, changes, back tracking. It’s all been done to ensure the best way to go about it and to ensure that Chick and Alice are squared away and taken care of on the road. Farms, interviews, meet ups. It’s all in many ways uncharted territory for all of us. Yes we have done some farms, plenty of riding done by Chick and Alice, and there have been a few interviews here and there, but to combine it all into one and for the reasons we are doing it, it all fresh and on a grand scale. 50 state, 50 farms, thousands of miles and so many voices to hear from. It’s an exciting time.
The future of Clearview Works is also being figured out. Lots of discussions about what the future looks like. How we help people, the plans, the goals, the dreams, and how to bring it all together, making it our own. The greenhouse, the retreat/healing center, the community, the business plan. All being ironed out as we move along. It’s always a bit scary walking into the unknown, especially in something of this level and wanting to make sure that the team and everyone are on the same page.
Like many journeys in life, this is not an easy one to undertake. The challenges, the struggles, differing opinions, pressure from the outside, thoughts and views from everyone. It all adds up, and if you are not prepared or in many ways built in a certain way, can wear you down and at times break you. But the push to move forward is strong with this team and everyone involved. We all keep pushing, handling the curves and bumps in the road as they come. I’m very excited to keep moving forward and love that there are others out there that are like minded across this country and the world that will be able to see, like us, they are not alone and if we all get together and continue, we can truly make a change for the better.
So, if you too are marching down a path, whether it be for healing, starting a dream, moving forward with one you started 2 decades ago, or just in your day to day. Keep going. It’s it there for you and you will love where it takes you, even if it is a scary path along the way.
Thank you again for all that you do and who you are.
