People are the Curriculum

Been a minute since I could get anything done. Been traveling a lot. A lot of days in the month of no signal. Meeting a lot of interesting new people. Seeing old friends. Learning Scarlett (2019 H-D Heritage Soft tail) more as I move through every mile of road. Since I can’t possibly write about every experience the way I would like to, I figured I would write about a few things that I have learned in the month of June 2026.

Where to start? I think I’ll start with the people. Now, not much surprises me. I don’t judge people. I profile for sure. Part of survival from the life I have had, but I also am fully aware it takes all kinds of people to make the world go round. That there are all types out there and that like the rest of us they are just trying to make it through life and all of its challenges.  It doesn’t matter what political party, what religion they claim, what god they worship, what sexuality they are, male or female, color, culture, divorced, widowed, lonely or full of family and friends. We are all out in this world trying to survive every single day. Only playing the hand life dealt us the best we can with what we know.

I have seen a lot of mindsets that are willing to learn outside of their own box because they want to learn, and love others by simply understanding them as people. This makes me happy and full of joy for the world to come. Ask all the questions you like. It truly expands the mind, body and spirit. Be curious. It breaks the walls of judgments down. Especially when it’s genuine. Understanding where people come from and why they are the way they are and who they are. Okay this isn’t so much what I have learned yet. I have always been this way since I came into this world. Maybe it’s because of my astrological placements, or past lives, or whatever.

Part of my struggle and theme of the last month as I too try to maneuver the world we all live in and share. Is what is real and what is not. I came to the conclusion that all this shit is either ALL real, or ALL fake. No in between. Then I started seeing things that I am like it’s all fucking real. Don’t act like we are not all going through this. I know everyone is battling this with all the news, and disclosures coming out everywhere all the time. Everyone is questioning. This is good. Healthy for the souls of all of us.

I have had some of the most interesting interactions with some people that are very different from where I come from. One man was comfortable enough in conversation to tell me that “Statistically woman with tattoos put out on the first date”. I looked him straight in the eye and responded “Not all of them and not this one”. I am covered in tattoos. I wasn’t offended because I understood his background, and the judgements from the religious community he lived in all his life. He was trying to understand someone so different. We discussed the community and how out of all communities and people I have come across in my life travels the community he resides in and knows in and out of has been absolutely the most judgmental and cruel community I have ever come across and many feel the same. Regardless of the scripture and ways they live by. He knew this to be true coming from where he came from but was reassuring that he is trying to change that from within, and it broke his heart and can’t deny the words I said.

I also came across another that was being harassed by a man from a tribe (NON-Native American) here in MN that wanted her goat. Was willing to pay 3k for it. Because the tribe prayed on it and the goat was the one for the man to use for sacrifice. This man was bound and determined to get this goat from this other person to sacrifice for a ritual to do onto his mother in-law. Not making this shit up. Wish I could I’d be one hell of a fantasy writer. Plus I had a witness to pinch me that this shit really just happened.

Seems to me that some of the old religious communities are still dealing with some old magic spiritual wars right under our noses. Old patterns still repeating themselves in history’s life cycles. I am sure glad I have made it out of those realms, but now I have a more clear understanding that they still exist and so many people are just trying to survive and learn themselves in their life’s patterns to get out, and make stands for their own soul's redemption.

My point is I am on one hell of a journey myself, and I am meeting all sorts of interesting people and loving every bit of it. That people are found and lost and all trying to survive. That all of us are much more alike and have so much more in common than we could ever imagine.

Through the healing journey I have been on. The ways Kevin and I are working together on setting up the future to help others heal. I have always struggled with child molesters. It’s been a huge topic amongst Kevin and myself. Knowing we will be helping many different walks of life. Yet, I still struggle because I do not like living with hate, animosity, or refusal of helping any kind of walk of life. I still stand in my own beliefs about this subject and don’t know that I will ever change due to what I have personally experienced, witnessed, researched, and know as my truth. Yet, in the last month. I have come across more than one person that has struggled with the moral dilemma of knowing someone close to them like their best-friend being convicted after knowing them for years and in prison, another who stated “why didn’t he tell us before hand so we could have helped him before it went too far?”

Now, with all of this I do feel for every human being. I understand I have to have boundaries for myself for self preservation. That I can’t save everyone. That I am not qualified for some because of my own developed pre-judgments. I understand that a human being locked away causes loneliness and no human should feel that way. However, I do not have it in me to show that type of compassion and am very comfortable in my stance of turning my back on the ones that have committed these crimes. I recognize this in myself. Some days I feel like maybe I could take on trying to help these folks, but my wall comes up and I am like nope I feel suffering is the best option. However, I am grateful for those who can stick by these people. Provide a safe place for them to heal, while recognizing I am not a safe place for these people because of my strong feelings of animosity, hate, disgust, and beliefs on the subject. So, it takes all kinds, and I am happy for those who can do what I cannot. While accepting I am who I am, and I am completely okay with that. That in the areas I lack others will step in and that's okay.

I get nervous about speaking on my beliefs in this realm of darkness because I don’t want my thoughts of earned experience, knowledge on the subject to affect others beliefs. At the same time it’s nice to sit in conversation with another and discuss the hard stuff and compare notes. Though I am a very compassionate person and regardless of the others helping this particular crowd I am still comfortable in my stance and grateful that others took it upon themselves so I can move on through my life. Knowing it takes a village. Because not everyone in the village has the same gifts, knowledge, or compassion. But where one lacks another does not. That everyone had their place, and we don’t have to be like everyone else or specialize in the same things. That people may do things for others you disagree with and that’s okay. Elevate each other anyway. Teach and talk anyway. It’s good to know what you can take on and cannot. That others make up where you lack and there is no need for envy or jealously for another doing what you cannot. Speaking overall because it applies to every aspect of life. I don’t and have never suffered from envy or jealousy of others myself but I see a lot of it from others. Seen a lot of people try to push through and do what they are not meant to do. I just want people to know that’s okay but we don’t have to hate the others that can. Even if we disagree with what they are doing. It’s also good to talk about the hard stuff. To know what you are up against, and to know where you should bow out. This subject is where I bow out. For now, because lord knows I am still trying to find peace in myself about these particular crime committers. Maybe someday, but not today and I am okay with that.

There is so much to cover from June, and this is only a fraction of what I have learned this month. I could write a book on everything I’ve experienced, but this is a blog not a novel.

So, how does all of this relate to what we’re building at Clearview Works?

As I mentioned earlier, Kevin and I are deep in the research and development phase of our future programs. By combining our certifications, experiences, and the knowledge we continue to gain, we are laying the foundation for what this nonprofit will become. That foundation is constantly evolving as we learn, adapt, and pivot toward a stronger future.

Over the next two years, I’ll be gathering an incredible amount of information through conversations, volunteering, hands-on work, and experiences while helping elevate American farmers across the country. Everything I learn will be brought back to Kevin, our Co-Founder, who will be using that information to help develop designs, programs, and so much more behind the scenes.

The last couple of months alone have already brought ideas and opportunities I never could have anticipated. If this is only the beginning, I honestly can’t wait to see where this journey takes us. It’s going to be one wild ride, and I hope you’ll continue riding alongside us.
