Leaving Bread Crumbs

“Always leave a paper trail” are some of the words of wisdom that I have come across in my life. At the time is was pertaining to court and battling with the system, but it stretches across my entire timeline. How I apply it today, and why?

Today, it’s simple. I have read many books, researched many topics, that came from something I learned from dreams in the astral plane or visions then started researching them in the material world.

I know some of you don’t understand this, some don’t even remember their dreams. There are many reasons for this and it all boils down to you. Everyone has the capability to remember their dreams. It’s a personal journey of remembrance.

How I apply it to today? After all I have read and researched there is a particular path that myself and Chick are walking. It’s called the Hero’s journey. Do I think I am a hero no, this isn’t about ego. It’s simply pattern recognition.

Here is a quick google search with AI Overview.

AI Overview

The Hero's Journey is a common narrative archetype where a character leaves their ordinary world to embark on an adventure, faces challenges, and returns transformed. Its 12 stages are: Ordinary World, Call to Adventure, Refusal of the Call, Meeting the Mentor, Crossing the First Threshold, Tests/Allies/Enemies, Approach to the Inmost Cave, Ordeal, Reward, The Road Back, Resurrection, and Return with the Elixir.

Meaning

The Hero's Journey is a story template that describes a protagonist's transformative quest. It follows a cyclical path, beginning in the hero's familiar world, moving into the unknown, and ending with a return that benefits their original world. It's a common structure in mythology, literature, and film, representing personal growth and transformation through overcoming trials.

Stages

The journey is often broken down into three main acts: Departure, Initiation, and Return.

1. Departure (Separation)

  • Ordinary World: The hero's normal life before the adventure begins.

  • Call to Adventure: An event or discovery that pulls the hero out of their comfort zone.

  • Refusal of the Call: The hero initially hesitates to accept the call due to fear or a desire for the familiar.

  • Meeting the Mentor: The hero encounters a wise guide who provides advice, training, or a special item.

  • Crossing the First Threshold: The hero commits to the adventure and leaves their ordinary world behind permanently.

2. Initiation

  • Tests, Allies, and Enemies: The hero faces challenges, forms friendships, and confronts adversaries in the new world.

  • Approach to the Inmost Cave: The hero draws closer to the source of the conflict or the greatest danger.

  • Ordeal: The hero confronts their greatest fear and faces a central crisis, often a near-death experience.

  • Reward: Having survived the ordeal, the hero takes possession of the reward (e.g., a treasure, knowledge, or reconciliation).

3. Return

  • The Road Back: The hero begins the journey back to the ordinary world, sometimes pursued by forces that want the reward.

  • Resurrection: The hero faces a final, climactic ordeal that tests everything they have learned. They are transformed by this last trial.

  • Return with the Elixir: The hero returns to the ordinary world with a boon or treasure that benefits their community, and they are changed forever.

What does this have to do with Paper Trail. Well, like I have said, and it’s been documented a few times. This has been two decades of pushing for this. Constantly pivoting, revisiting, throwing my fits when I wanted to give up and try to live a normal life, then the dreams and visions would come in so strong I felt like I was losing my mind. I wanted and prayed to be a normal human being, that smacked my bubble gum, twirled my hair, and lived under the umbrella of “ignorance is bliss”. Like majority of the human race. No giant hook pulling on me to go in this direction, just being able to live my normal life and settle into it. That’s not how it has turned out, the pull is too strong and I cannot fight it. Or should I say I won’t fight it anymore.

This whole situation, dream, goal, vision could be simple chalked up to a hero’s journey by the patterns I have lived for this whole giant project. Before learning about the Hero’s journey I personally referred to it as my Vision Quest. Another quick Google search with AI Overview.

A vision quest generally follows three stages: preparation, the solo fast in the wilderness (the "threshold"), and incorporation or integration. Participants prepare mentally, physically, and spiritually, then spend time alone in nature, fasting and praying, before returning to share their experiences and insights.

Stages of a Vision Quest

1. Preparation

  • This is a crucial phase where individuals prepare their bodies, minds, and spirits.

  • It can involve learning outdoor skills, getting in touch with one's intentions, and gathering tools and knowledge for the solo fast.

  • The preparation phase allows a person to make space for new insights and to deepen their focus.

2. Threshold

  • During this phase, the participant goes into isolation in nature for a set period, typically a few days.

  • They will fast from food and be free from distractions like phones and other gadgets.

  • The purpose is to enter a deeper state of consciousness, receive answers, and connect with the spirit world or inner truth.

  • Support is often provided from a distance by a group or guides at a base camp.

3. Incorporation

  • After the solo fast, the individual returns to the group.

  • This stage is dedicated to processing and integrating the experience and any insights gained during the quest.

  • The community or group helps welcome the individual back and celebrate the new phase of life or understanding they have achieved.

  • The experience is often shared with fellow questers.

Yes, I am fully aware. This is a more short lived condensed version and definition, but in the grand scheme of things if I was to put everything on the table, not concentrate on one particular thing, drop all emotions attached, zoom out to get a broad view. It’s like this whole life time is my giant vision quest. Also, mixing cultures here. Which I like to do. There is always the other side of the story.

Readers, comment the answer below. From everything you have read about Clearview Works from the Website, Blogs, and Facebook in your words How does the Hero Quest relate to the journey you have been watching with the team of Clearview Works?

After many years of reading, researching, deep dives into my personal healing and initiations to continue following the pull of the hook while realizing I cannot do this alone and need a team to help in this process. There are stages of the hero quest I have already been through.

Chick and I have had many discussions about the fact that there is absolutely no way in hell we arrive home after this adventure being the same person. I have mentioned this in other posts. About being able to see myself at the end of each path. I already chose the path and that should be obvious to the readers that have been following along. The road calls to both Chick and I in away many will never understand. We are okay with that. WE know what this means to us, our team, and what we are embarking on.

The Paper Trail

This is not a normal non-profit. I wanted it to be built different than the others. I read many books on non-profits and refuse to follow some of the very successful techniques. Not because they don’t work or not effective but simply because they do not sit right with me. After many discussions with the team we all feel the same way. It’s been expressed on our website how we want to conduct ourselves and we stand by it. WE don’t worry about funds not a huge push for us. Yes we would all love to get paid for what we are doing and quit our jobs and dive balls deep into this non profit but we are simply doing what we can. My point is there will be a day that I finish the finish line, well one big one and people will start coming through and researching. The paper trail is already here, waiting. Through the blogs, newsletters, through everything we do. May not have support from our friends and family like we all wish we did but we know that there are others out there that will. We believe it, we know it and we do not worry about it. Like the dreams I have had about the team mates I described in the other blogs more will come and I will know when the time comes. WE all just push forward leaving our bread crumbs. Taking a untraveled path while being a team of Trail Blazers and it is not easy but it will all be documented here. To look back on. Like a manifesto. To where we all started and how each of us grew whilst growing the team. Which only goes hand in hand with showing each of us that what we are doing is already working.

My Synapsis of the “Paper Trail” Effects so far…

We as in the whole Clearview Works Team have been posting blogs since March of 2025. I am the only one that had writings from years ago that we as a team use to fill a gap when I am too busy to write. Since then we got a few requests and wants from our readers to make them audios so they could listen because they didn’t have time to read all of them but wanted to stay in the “know.” So this embarked our team scramble to setting up audio then reading, writing descriptions and editing over 100 blogs in a short amount of time. Now we are found on Spotify and Amazon and aspire to be on a few more platforms eventually. Over this time each of us had to go back. Now I don’t know the whole team’s view point on this YET, but from what I witnessed and experienced. Each and everyone one of us have grown. The 5 of us ranging from the most introverted of introverts to a couple in between to a social butterfly. I have watched my team blossom, each and every one of us. Growing, getting more comfortable expressing their hearts, feelings and souls. All inspired by one or all of us to start tackling things in their personal lives to be better for themselves. Emotional Health, Confidence, Standing up for one's self, taking power back, and so much more. It has been an absolute honor to watch as writing skills have changed, and confidence grew. I noticed about myself how much of an impact the team has had on me in such a short period of time. My writing techniques have morphed, I am more confident in sharing things that I would have been burned at the stake for. The list goes on. Another thing I noticed is this team when met with adversity from the outside no matter where it comes from instead of stepping out, they step in. WE grow stronger and the line even more reinforced each time. It’s a beautiful thing to watch, and go through even though the healing game is no joke and is hard on so many levels, I could never possibly describe. So, with that being said, the truth of the matter is I don’t have to finish the finish line because I have already helped others and in return they helped me. I stand tall for my team because they picked me up when I fell, they stood by my side metaphorically and publicly. They and what we are doing IS my ride or die.

PS. I am crossing that finish line or I'm pretty sure my team would vote “Off with her head” if I didn’t. Just sayin’

Much Love and Gratitude

Alice
